Regional Cooperation
Jason believes that working with neighboring cities will lead to improved services and cost savings. Jason has been a leading voice for regionalism since he advocated for Cleveland Heights and University Heights to share a salt storage facility in 2007. As a direct result of Jason’s leadership, Cleveland Heights and University Heights have been and continue to share the Cleveland Heights salt storage facility. As well, Jason made regional cooperation a centerpiece of his 2009 City Council campaign. Jason’s efforts have led to Cleveland Heights joining R.I.T.A. (Regional Income Taxing Authority), joint street improvements bidding (Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights and University Heights) and others.

Accountable and Transparent Government
The internet is changing our lives and making knowledge available at the click of a button. Government should utilize and incorporate the internet to make itself more accountable and transparent. Jason will bring accountability and transparency to Cleveland Heights City Council because he believes that everyone should have access to their government.
